Knowledge Base Summary and adding a new entry
Knowledge Base enables Dashboard Users to create and add any information that is non-job specific, but all employees have access to in the field - on the Re-flow App. Knowledge Base entries can be restricted, so if there is a Knowledge Base entry you only require specific Users or Groups to see, you can restrict which App Users will see the page on the App.
You could create:
Company Policies
Employee Handbook (and restrict to a single User)
General Information
Code of Practice
The information can be tailored to suit any requirement through Re-flow's editor. With the editor your pages will be able to incorporate:
Text
Accordion (expanding information from a title button)
Icons which you can link to websites, entries or documents/images
Icons with associated text to create lists
Images
Maps
Knowledge Base offers companies independence to create their own content for any requirement.
Instructions
Step-by-step guide:
Via the dashboard’s left-hand menu, click: Knowledge Base
Click red button '+ New Entry' (top-right).
Create a title for your page
Build page content for button selection
When content is complete 'Save' top-right.
You Knowledge Base content is displayed on Re-flow's App under 'Information' as default. Within the information section your pages will be listed by their title.
Page Content Buttons
+ Text: A basic text block with advanced features such as, html, text formatting options, lists, tables, linkable text (websites and re-flow entires) and horizontal line breaks. Displays on App as a block of text.
Accordion: Same features as a '+ Text', but viewed by App users as a button with the title name, which when pressed, unfolds the text copy.
Links: Create rows of linkable icons that can link to: Custom URL, an internal entry within Re-flow, or, an asset (a document or image from files).
This option enables you to link an App Form, Job, Event or page from your Knowledge Base.
This option enables you to link to PDF's, PNG's or JPEG's from the Files section in the left-hand menu.
This option enables you to link the Task to a website page.
List: Create rows of icons with an additional line of text.
This option enables you to link an App Form, Job, Event or page from your Knowledge Base.
This option enables you to link to PDF's, PNG's or JPEG's from the Files section in the left-hand menu.
This option enables you to link the Task to a website page.
Image: Add and title an image.
Map: Add a map and create routes. Example: Materials location.
Restricting User
From the top-right you have the option of restricting the Knowledge Base page to specific App Users.
Check 'Restrict who can view this data in the app.
Select an App User or User Group to restrict the page to.
Save.
